Lwcus T is proud to present 'Y Meddwl Lliwgar Yma' the seventh single from the monthly singles project by Sywel Nyw in 2021.

July’s guest vocalist is musician and artist Steffan Dafydd. Steff is the frontman of the alt rock band, Breichiau Hir, who has been a pillar of the Welsh music scene for over a decade. Steff's style is well known for being loud and his lyrics are often dreamy and absurd.

Steff said: “I tried to create a hazy landscape of things that connected very loosely in my mind, I was going for a subconscious walk and putting wherever I ended up doing down on paper.

I wanted to create a feeling of desperately trying to connect with other people and the world and then mix this with the isolated flow of thought of an individual. I like this contrast.

I only noticed months after recording that this collaboration is a perfect metaphor for this - with the words and music being created separately by two different individuals.”

'Y Meddwl Lliwgar Yma' will be out on Friday 30 July.
