Lwcus T are proud to present Dyfroedd Melys, the third single from an ambitious project for 2021.

Each month of the year, Sywel Nyw is releasing a new single featuring a different guest artist.

Gwenno Morgan is the guest artist in March. Originally from Bangor, Gwenno now resides in Leeds and is establishing herself as an exciting new talent who combines elements of jazz, classical and electronica music.

“After such a long period of restrictions, I wanted to write people that would make people dance!

"The experience of working with Lewys encouraged me to come up with new ideas. The collaboration took the music to a place it wouldn’t have gone if I was writing by myself.”

Ond Dyfroedd Melys, Gwenno’s soulful jazz piano is combined skilfully with Sywel Nyw’s lyrics and melodies.

The video for Dyfroedd melys was produced by directed by Anna Huws, with filming and editing by Gwilym Huws.

Ellie Yvonne Owen once again created the artwork for the single, which was compiled by Celt Iwan.

Each single from the project so far can be heard on the usual digital streaming platforms, or on lwcust.com.

Dyfroedd Melys will be available for download on 26 March.
