Lwcus T is proud to present ‘Traeth y Bore’ the ninth single of Sywel Nyw's monthly singles project in 2021.

September’s guest is one of the most prominent pioneers of Welsh alternative Pop, none other than Endaf Emlyn. Endaf has released some of the most influential albums in the Welsh language's history, which include Salem, and Hiraeth.

‘Traeth y Bore’, co-written with Endaf Emlyn during the lockdown, with Lewys and Endaf sharing demos and ideas through their personal recording setup. The lyrics of the song, written by Griff Lynch, have obvious references to the lyrics of the album ‘Hiraeth’. Endaf wanted the composition to be hopeful with a sense of freedom of youth. The sound and tone of the song is typical of Endaf's work, and it is a privilege for everyone involved in the Sywel Nyw project to have Endaf's name attached to this.
